Christy and Kapono were fantastic hosts. They are very proactive with communication and responsive to anything that came up. Their studio is an all around nice, comfortable, clean place to stay. The kitchen is definitely a highlight of this studio. It is better equipped than most long term studio rentals in the area. The AC was really nice as well. Though it is generally cool enough to not use it, having it available was a plus. Having washer and dryer access was also a huge benefit. Though it is shared with the upstairs unit, Christy made it really easy to coordinate access, and there was never a time when I needed to do laundry but felt like I couldn’t. Additionally, I never had an issue finding street parking while I was staying here (which is for sure not the case everywhere on the island). Definitely recommend having a car here, but would recommend that anyway to be able to get around and truly appreciate all of the island. Overall, highly recommend staying here!

I stay in a lot of Airbnbs and I can't say enough about how important it is to have great hosts, which sets the tone as well as your feeling of comfort and safety. Kapono and Christy were without a doubt the best hosts I've ever had. They showed me so much aloha which meant the world to me as I was going through a difficult loss. It was so appreciated. Not to mention how much I loved their home on the Hawaiian hillside! From the front windows you can watch the sunset over the ocean every evening and even see rainbows right in front of you, twice in the mornings, wow! At night, you can see the twinkling lights below all the way down to Honolulu harbor. I loved the feel of the older beautiful Hawaiian neighborhood and it was centrally located too with lots of privacy. I absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely come back! Christy is a top tier host, always proactive, asking if there are any needs to make the stay the best possible. The location is top tier for what I love: quiet, beautiful views, convenient spot to everything and close to the hospital I was working at. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Oahu.

Christy and Kapono were excellent hosts, very responsive to questions and quick with helpful suggestions. The apartment itself is perfect for one or two people, and is in a darling neighborhood. I met friendly neighbors and was treated to a truly unforgettable neighborhood new years eve display. I would definitely recommend this location for your travels to Honolulu!

An amazing space for the party of 1-2. Great location close to anything one may need, from food to mainline bus routes. Beautiful neighborhood and view. Extremely clean and well furnished. 10/10 would stay here again!

This place was just perfect for us, and we look forward to staying there again on our next visit. Highly recommend it for a party of two or three that want to spend time in Hawaii. Christy is also a wonderful host and deeply cares for those who stay there. She would check on us every now and then to see how we were doing and if we needed anyhing. The place is very clean, has wifi and a smart tv with several apps, and even has a Krupps coffee machine versus the cheep ones in hotels. Oahu is filled with wondeful beaches in all directions and Waikiki is just "one of the many places" in Hawaii, (and Waikiki is very crowded with tourists). The location of this place is perfect for trips to every corner of the island, with easy quick access to all the main roads. Another plus is the parking, which we were able to do a just a couple houses down on the street and "FREE" , versus $30-$60 a night at a hotel Waikiki. The location of the room is in a quiet, safe, and clean neighborhood, and the view is "Great"! It is not a big expensive flashy hotel, but a Cozy Private Studio that truely makes us feel like "Ohana".

***Comfortable and clean accommodations, super thoughtful hosts, wonderful city view*** I was fortunate enough to stay with Charity and Kapono. The location is on a hillside with sweeping city views. A great variety of dining options and convenience type shopping (ie Walgreens) can be found a short few minutes drive away. (Note: Try not to be in a rush when visiting the islands, your stay will be so much more enjoyable) “Hawaiian Time” isn’t just a meme, it is being flexible and reducing stress about scheduling. The room was super comfortable. Great bed, cold A/C, nice TV and wifi. The bathroom and shower is in a room separate from the living space. Private access was so convenient using a push button coded lock. Charity and Kapono checked on me multiple times during my stay to see if there was anything I needed or if there was anything that needed restocking such as paper goods. I also had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Kapono. He is a rarity being of Hawaiian decent. It’s nice to know Hawaiian people are still living on the island and are welcoming visitors. Thank you Charity and Kapono for making my stay safe and wonderful!

This is a great place to stay for the price. Close to the city but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Super cosy! They checked in a couple times via text and were very responsive.

Really great place to stay at such a great price. We had everything we needed and Christy made sure to let us know if we needed anything else or more of something. Super comfy bed, cold ac as stated, smart tv with Netflix and all that. Loved our stay here and would most definitely stay here again.
